Three Ravens Retreat - Mass Timber Mountain
Taking design inspiration from representations of mountains, the design of the Three Ravens Retreat leverages the unique structural possibilities of CLT panels. The resulting form, a mass-timber peak, presents different aspects when seen from various angles while remaining identifiable, like its alpine analog.
This irregular mountain-like roof form harmonizes with a minimalist Modern floor plan to provide a refreshing retreat for a writer easily distracted by the chaos of the day-to-day.
